Past Projects

Beerded Productions designs and builds custom docks, decks, and boathouses for private lakes like Lake Waynoka and Lake Lorelei. We combine practical design with clear plans and 3D views when needed, so you can see how everything will look and work before we build. From the structure below the waterline to the trim details you see every day, we focus on low-maintenance materials, clean lines, and layouts that actually fit how you boat, swim, and entertain.

Lake Waynoka

Custom dock and boathouse by Beerded Productions

This project at Lake Waynoka features a double-slip boathouse with composite decking, a curved lounge deck, and modern cable railing. We handled the design and build: framing, posts and beams, decking, trim details, and coordination with lifts and electrical.

The goal was simple: create a low-maintenance, clean waterfront space where the owners could relax, tie up, and entertain without constantly fixing boards or dealing with rot and peeling finishes.

  • Double-slip covered boathouse

  • Composite dock and curved seating deck

  • Cable railing and clean trim details

  • Low-maintenance, high-durability finishes

Every shoreline and lake community is different, so we don’t sell one-size-fits-all kits. We design and build:

  • Docks – swim platforms, fishing docks, and multi-slip layouts

  • Boathouses – single or double slips, covered structures, and storage

  • Decks & Walkways – access stairs, hillside landings, and lounge decks

  • Railings & Trim – cable railing, guardrails, fascia, and lighting details

  • Add-ons – integration with boat lifts, power, storage, and lighting

What we build

How the Process Works

  1. Site Visit & Conversation

We walk your shoreline, discuss how you currently use the lake, and explore what changes you'd like to make. We’ll look at water depth, access, HOA/POA guidelines, and any existing structures.

  2. Design & Budget

Before we ever set a post, we develop a clear plan for your dock or boathouse. That can include scaled drawings, layout plans, and 3D views so you can see how the structure fits your shoreline, house, and existing features. When it makes sense, we’ll review the project in 3D with you and make adjustments together, so there are fewer surprises once we start building. You’ll also get a clear, itemized cost breakdown—no mystery numbers, just a realistic plan.

  3. Permits & Approvals

We help coordinate with the lake office or HOA/POA as needed so the design meets their requirements and gets approved before any work starts.

  4. Build & Finish

Once scheduled, we handle the build—from posts and framing to railings and trim—so you end up with a dock or boathouse that’s solid, safe, and ready for the next season.

We primarily serve private lakes and rural properties in southwest Ohio, including:

  • Lake Waynoka

  • Lake Lorelei

  • Nearby lakes and waterfront properties within driving distance of Blanchester, OH

If you’re not sure whether you’re in range, reach out with your address and a quick description of your shoreline. If we’re not the right fit, we’ll let you know upfront.

Dock & Boathouse FAQs

Still have questions?

  • Yes. Every lake community has its own rules on size, setbacks, height, and materials. We design with those in mind and help you navigate approvals so there are no surprises.

  • Both. We can look at your existing structure and tell you honestly whether it makes sense to repair/modify it or start fresh.

  • For major dock and boathouse projects, it’s best to start planning a season ahead. That gives time for design, approvals, and scheduling the build.
